Overall I enjoyed it a lot! Not their BEST work, but a very good time that got darker than I was expecting.

The throwbacks to The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals were a little hamfisted at times but they got a laugh out of me more often than not regardless.

New cast members are pretty solid, though I am a little sad to see so many long-time cast memebrs still haven't returned since Firebringer (Denise Donovan, Meredith Stepien, Rachael Soglin, Brian Holden, Joseph Walker)

Yeah I enjoyed it. Probably not as good as TGWDLM, but still good.

And yeah agreed on missing old cast. I particularly would have loved to have Mariah back, but I understand that she got an offer that was too good to pass up!

Re throwbacks I loved the Man In a Hurry and smoke club callbacks.

I definitely like some of the stuff. John McNamara returning is awesome. Smoke club was hilarious, especially when Hannah got called out for it. America Is Great Again and Show Me Your Hands playing as background piano was a nice touch. Other throwbacks got a touch excessive (reclusive bio professor, wear a watch, Paul not like the musical commercial),

Music is definitely pretty solid. Favorite song for me has to go to What If Tomorrow Comes. It's been stuck in my head for days now.
