Obviously none of us can be 100% sure, but out of curiosity. Kind of an optimism/realism/pessimism exercise if you will.

Worst case estimates were putting it at 500k deaths in the US so you'd have to be pretty damn unlucky/unhealthy. That's what, 1 out of every 1500 people?

Uh, no. Worst case was in the millions. Best case right now is 100-200k

So there are about only two people I really care about that are heavily in the "at-risk" area and would very likely die if they get it, my 84 year old grandma and my 90 year old great aunt. But like they literally have no reason to go out at all so it is entirely possible they shelter through the whole thing.

If they get it I'm likely losing them, but they might just dodge the whole thing.

I also have an immunocompromised aunt and uncle (both have MS), but they are kind of the worst so I could take it or leave it beyond being sad for my mom.

My mom is very at risk to it, as is my dad. My sister is a nurse in a covid ward at the hospital, I'm the only help she's got with my nephews right now and I still go to work too.

I'm about ready to drink myself unconscious and sleep for two days this weekend. I'm so tired and stressed.

If I lose my sister or my nephews, I'm done. They're all I've really got left in the world anymore on any sort of consistent basis.

Yeah, parents. I don't believe it because I will do my best to not let it happen.

I pray not. I have two parents who are at that risk age. Some aunts and uncles, a few coworkers as well.
