Cuomo has NY on a criteria it must maintain and if it falls below certain levels they will revert back to a lockdown.

Now yes. Since everything has been shut down. Once everything opens again and rolls into a semi-normal operation, i think it'll be difficult to get them to completely shut down again at the drop of a hat. It was difficult the first time and basically took an NBA player getting sick and shutting down the league for the general public to say "Hmmm....maybe we should listen"

the economy is still 'getting by' with the little activity its seeing. it can probably go on like this for some time tbh

they need to reopen because people might get settled in on the new changes of production. if we cant go back some people are going to lose their livelihood and business from this as focus turns to post pandemic productions and businesses

This is pretty accurate. I live in GA and my coworkers have already gone out for dinner, haircuts, and if you drive around you wouldn't even know parts of the country are in lockdown.

No one wants to say it but these officials have already ran the numbers and are ok if old people and those with compromised immune systems die from this. If Kemp starts getting numbers back that people in their 40s/50s are dying from it then the panic will start settling in. The guy is an accountant after all, good luck getting him to notice every number is a person.
