Like two days ago was the first day I didnt boot up the game at all since release. I paid off my house over a month ago probably and my interest has been steadily dwindling.

im at a point where I like how my island is set up well enough that theres no real goal for me unless I want to go for something really elaborate, and I really dont want to invest the time a huge redesign would take. So now I kinda just play enough every day to check the stores and do a few other little things.

Until i get bored, which has pretty much already happened with the new game. Got quite a bit of relaxation out of it, though! But yeah I don't know how people dump several hundred hours into this.

when I experience every holiday once and complete the musuem

getting every item lost its appeal after I saw there are multiple colors of the same item
