Shit is like 2 and a half months away, and we've barely heard anything in months. They say pandemic hasn't affected release, which is all well and good, but now that the new consoles launch this winter, I'm curious. I don't see how cyberpunk is going to release for ps4/xb1 and actually work. Everything we've seen has been on pc, obviously, and the current consoles are ancient by tech standards now, they struggled to run witcher 3. I have a weird feeling.

I'm guessing that they're shitting bricks because it runs like ass on OG PS4s and Xbox Ones. What do you do though? They will lose so many sales if they have to make it a next gen only game. Putting out a release saying you can only play it on ps4 pros and xbox one x's would be suicide as well.

That's what I'm saying. It took a literal year of near monthly patches to get witcher 3 running on og ps4/xb1, and it still has some minor technical constraints to this day.
