all 3 of those are the nascar B team. xfinity is their developmental league

actual a team

it's like getting mad at the red sox for this

but you don't care about nascar having pro or anti politics message, you just wanted to shit post your ignorance without doing research. Thanks for contributing to the problem! Dig into that side, never educate.

Bro, I'm the biggest NASCAR fan here. Miss me with this bullshit. I'm just laughing because right-wing politics have been peppering NASCAR for years, but have a black man say BLM and suddenly NASCAR is being divisive and hateful and rednecks feel like a war is being fought against freedom.

Also, Xfinity and Trucks aren't just development leagues. It's as far as some teams and drivers can or want to go. Young talented drivers and ones with daddy's money do move up through the ranks quickly, but veterans are there too.

Developmental leagues are for tier-one organizations to develop their rookies/up and comers to eventually reach that top tier competition.

Xfinity and Trucks are a mixture of that type of organization plus independent drivers/teams that have peaked there.

It's not a fully-developmental league, it's a mixture.

Of course ILT would argue semantics.

Saying the Xfinity series isn't NASCAR is fucking dumb. It's a part of the NASCAR brand and if people are going to bitch about "muh politics" in the Cup series and not in the Xfinity series is hypocritical, which is what TC was pointing out.

Leave it to ILT to "BUT ACKSUALLY...."

All sports should be political. Athletes have just as much of a right to an opinion as anyone else. Your profession should not dictate whether or not your voice is valid.

The people who say otherwise tend to disagree with the opinions of those people.

There are drivers in both Xfinity and Trucks more talented than as much as a third of the Cup Series. Some have been stuck for years. Talent is unfortunately not everything. Cup is strangely not even considered the most difficult series to drive at the moment.

Anyway, these supposed diehard NASCAR fans should know about their sport if they're suddenly going to cry and threaten to leave over something that isn't the on-track product being political and divisive. Have they seen a pre-race? Almost like they've just been viewing NASCAR as a safe space to get drunk and fly Confederate flags. Rednecks can be casual, basic bitches too.

if they were, they'd be picked up. If they aren't, it shows why you shit post on ce instead of work in nascar as a talent scout

Lol

That's a brilliant strategy except for one tiny flaw...almost all the people that see that would have voted for Trump anyway.

Joey Gase and Garrett Smithley could barely manage midpack in the lower series and they are best known in Cup for being so slow that they hold up everyone else. Quin Houff had 10 Xfinity starts and 5 ARCA starts total with no top 5s before he became a Cup driver. They are not part of the 40 best talents in NASCAR. The back 7-8 cars in the field are drivers and/or teams that have no place in the elite series. The Dillon brothers will have long careers on nepotism alone despite middling results.

Minor league baseball players can't pay money to move up a level over better talents. A few random slobs aren't starting up a MLB team and playing a starting lineup that would be AA at best in any other organization.

I totally agree.
Sports is supposed to bring people together. Injecting politics into sports only serves to further divide us.

Remind me, does the cup series have the same drivers every year?

Bad drivers go down, good drivers go up.

Imagine unironically thinking sports bring our country together. Go on the NFL board and tell me how the basic tribalist nature of sports teams made them all kinder and more understanding. Those people are barely a step above troglodytes and mostly communicate in insults and "creative" slurs against other teams. Go ask a Bostonian his opinion on a New Yorker and vice versa--I've seen people get into actual fist fights because they were wearing the wrong sports hat.

Sports are purely entertainment, and team/localized sports especially are a way of stimulating the tribal part of our brain that enjoys defining insider and outsider groups as a hierarchy that fuels aggression and hate. I pray that more politics gets injected into sports, because just about the only thing these people SHOULD be able to on with is police should not fucking executing unarmed black people. But hey, even that is too much apparently.

On behalf of the NFLB, you are no longer welcome there and should probably consider eating a sack of baby dicks
