Kinda weird since Last of Us 1 was a game about how ideas of right and wrong are counterproductive to survival.

Oh its not a bad game by any means, but the story is meh. It's kind of funny. The first game had boring, clunky gameplay and an outstanding story. The sequel has great gameplay and a meh story.

so far i am finding the story in 2 much more interesting than in 1. personally i thought the plot in 1 was very predictable and dull, the only things that stood out to me were the characterization of joel and the ending. 2 feels kind of unnecessary from a narrative standpoint (so far) but I really like how they are exploring the relationship between joel and ellie, it permeates everything in the game.

I thought people loved conflicted scenarios. Turns out that conviction goes down the drain when they're invested into one sole character.

if i am really only a third through the game i will have to reassess after im done, i think what will get me before the story is the gameplay because i am already finding that a little repetitive
