but even with all of the great reviews it got, it just look so boring. and despite people praising the graphics, it looked like a ps3 game to me. i just saw pewdie pie playing a while ago and good lord the grass, the armor, the enemies, everything looked ps3. it definitely looked sick in the trailers where it was night time.

I picked it up last night. Weapons feel dangerous. If you fuck up your timing it can be easy to die, even basic grunts can kill you.

I think the graphics part might be because people are using different standards for what they consider "the graphics".
The character models are eh, but the environment is breathtaking.

Gameplay is basically Witcher 3, Tenchi, and Infamous had a baby. If you're into those games you'll like it. If not then I wouldn't get it.

This. Everytime I've died it's been my fault. Combat never feels like I'm being cheated. It just makes me feel the same way my parents do.

I have a friend that dead ass doesn't see the difference between modern experiences and something like CoD4. I'm convinced some people simply don't notice details in games and maybe even real life.

Nah, we regularly switch between old games and new games all the time. It blows my mind that he thinks Halo 3 looks comparable to modern games.

Sometimes I wonder how he processes sight.
