scarletspeed7 07/20/20 1:43:45 PM #1:	Meme title, real situation. I woke up this morning to discover the air conditioner vent over my bookshelf in the craft room is leaking. When I pulled down my attic ladder and climbed up, I discovered the pan that drains underneath the air conditioner was filled to overflowing, and the metal struts that hold it in place had buckled, spilling water directly into the air vent. I lost a lot of books, I'm pretty sure. Notably my yearbooks from my old schools, but also a few nonfiction coffee table style books that were really nice-looking. Really bummed. EDIT: I now am paranoid that somehow the repairman will arrive and track Corona across my carpet like dirt on workboots. --- "It is too easy being monsters. The owner is managing it into the ground thanks to his inability to shift our strategies with the Coronavirus. It will be closed by the end of the month, I suspect. I left a couple months ago. I don't have a blow drier, but I am using a floor fan and flipping the pages when I can. A lot of them are caked together sadly. And the yearbook messages are staining across pages. These more plastic-y pages in the coffee table books are maybe going to survive? It's tough to say. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
