So far, it's fuckin EVE. Very dense and complicated. Half the chat is people saying "wtf do I do?" and people responding "welcome to eve lol". There are some basic tutorials, but the game doesn't hold your hand at all, and is in essence, a pocket version of the original game. It's been live for an hour, and people are already rushing to set up corporations and shit. Apparently there's a big push by pc version vets to get in and become top dogs quickly since they already know what to do basically. It's more or less the same game(with some obvious differences). You'll need a higher end device to get the most out of it though, it's pretty graphically demanding.

Oh and BTW, ios and android play together on the same server. It's cross platform.

FYI, the pc vets are saying this version is actually very, very similar to the original version.

It's gonna be hilarious because they're skilled and are gonna wreck the shit out of New folks.

The problem with Eve mobile is how the fuck are you gonna reasonably play it? When I played 2 years ago you needed 3 programs open and 5 browser tabs.

It's not a direct port, it's its own version with its own interface. It's not amazing, but it works.

Also, it's all one megaserver. All regions of the world all play on the same server, with ios and android together.

I've been mostly avoiding other people and combat and doing mining lol. Onyl fight when pirates attack me.

Right but for any corporation or alliance level fleet activity you need voice programs and things like Slack etc:

The only way you could really play imo is to get an Android emu on PC and at that point just pay the PC version.

Hmm idk, not trying to have an argument its just that Eve is probably the most ridiculous game for needing 3rd party applications and programs to even be competitive in null-sec.

Sucks I just got a new phone and decided against getting a high end model, doubt i'd be able to play :(

Nah, people are playing it on lower settings and doing fine. And sorry I wasn't trying to argue lol. I'm on a high end phone and still dropped it down to medium because the battery drain is unreal on the higher settings. Still looks fine, especially since I play so far zoomed out from my ship anyway. Onyl thing I can say is to try it out and see how it compares iyo

Yeah I'll have to check in with my old null sec corp and see if they're setting anything up.
