Eh, I replayed the third one recently, the combat has not aged well but the rest of the gameplay is still fun.

Update the combat and camera and they'd be fine. Barely any games like them anymore.

This would also explain why they never added these games to Xbox backwards compatibility. They seemed like obvious picks.

Godsmack had like two songs I liked, and they worth both their slow hits. Voodoo and serenity.

Also, something I do forgot until I replayed them, they're really short. Each game is roughly 4-6 hours long.

Sands of Time is one of my favorite games ever, despite its short length and weak combat.

its story, characters, art direction, and platforming were all top notch, though, and I probably played through it ten or more times.

but I wasn't really feeling Warrior Within or Two Thrones, even though Warrior Within's platforming and combat were greatly improved.

I was thinking about these games a couple weeks ago, how a new one would be a lot of fun
I think it'd be nice to take it to another setting though. I like Persia but after three (four?) games, it'd be cool to see someone else find the sands of time and have similar abilities

The second one was definitely the worst but the Dahaka (sp?) enemy was a really cool concept

Prince of Persia 2008 and that half assed sands of time prequel they did after that really soured them on it I'm sure. Both sold terribly and were not received well.

I played 2008 and liked it. I think The Forgotten Sands was still good too just not many people played it. The Wii/PS2 version I think was better?

I don't get the hate for games that aren't long

Kung Fu for the NES is a 5 minute game that makes you play it several times to "really" win but it's still a really fun and timeless game.

Yeah I think they'll be doing quite a lot of improvements. The visuals will probably look like the PS1 remakes of this gen I think.

I'm really curious about the QOL improvements though. Maybe more streamlined combat and an in-game hint system.

As long as it isnt as buggy as the last port collection or as loud as the god damn umd that got my psp conficated during finals in highschool im happy.

3.5/10 difficulty
7-10 hour plat

can be finished no problem if i could find the time for it, we're booked on the next game going to finish the last game in the atelier dusk series.
