Splatoon 2. I know this is heavily orientated towards multi-player, and I'm more of a single-player kind of game, but I still wanted to play it. The gameplay is fun, with a clever combination of analogue stick control and motion sensing controls, which I hadn't been aware of. Also, the graphics are better than I thought they would be. I knew they were colourful, but they're also detailed, and run at 60 FPS. I've only briefly played some of the campaign, but it seems challenging and well designed. The ideas behind the game are, well. Different.

Seems like a good series.

I love that Nintendo managed to find a way to make a competitive first-person shooter where if your aim is terrible you can still contribute to your team. It's a brilliant twist that is probably one of the main reasons why it is still so heavily played.

I know there is this perception, but honestly the single player mode is excellent and if not quite on par, certainly close to the level design of recent 3D Mario games

i bout Splatoon 1&2 primarily for single player and I got my moneys worth tbh
