To be fair, the Pikmin 3 Deluxe rumours turned out to be true, so I expect the Mario stuff will be, as well. I have a feeling Nintendo may not restrict themselves into revealing a new, big game during a Nintendo Direct considering they already did this with Paper Mario Origami King by just dropping it's reveal trailer online a few months ago. Maybe Nintendo will drop some info in early to mid September because that is when the anniversary of Super Mario Bros. takes place?
