No I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same

I'm not against going digital in the future, but the majority of my PS4 library is physical so I feel like I gotta get the disc drive for BC reasons. Although physical tends to be cheaper than digital so in the long run I'll probably end up saving money anyways.

The only difference is the disc drive, although with a disc drive you also can buy used games.

i'm gonna pay the extra $100 for disc-based. it'll be nice to be able to play my PS4 games on there both for the extra performance (pro patches) and one less console to clutter up the shelf.

Isn't the drive 4K Blu Ray? Those are still pretty expensive so a 100 dollar difference seems fair to me.

i don't want a nerfed ps5. going for disc version.
also going to wait for a future shipment for reasons.... we have a massive library of games from vita/ps3/VR/ps4 to finish. we'll get done with shallie at some point. 2nd playthrough (gotta go in with guns blazing earning levels and shit) to pull it off. --- Explorers In The Further Regions Of Experience, demons to some, Angels To Others: Pinhead ...
