I've read books that take American culture decade by decade. The 1930s, the 1950s, the 1980s, the 1990s. I've also read a couple of books about the hippie movement. I read a book about the history of disco music. There was three books on British history, covering various years of the twentieth century. Pretty interesting stuff. I think the highlights were probably the book about hippies in Vermont, the 1950s American book, and the British book about the second half of the 1970s.

I've definitely enjoyed reading nonfiction more than fiction this year. Am I an abomination? Am I some kind of villain?

You're a hero, I wish I had that kind of literary will. Can you be stopped?

I have been avoiding reading like the PLAGUE all year except for Normal People, which is kinda funny

I almost exclusively read nonfiction, so I hope that doesnt make someone an abomination.
