Also is it worth getting it now? On one hand I want to get it now since it's not the full game with loads of hours to eventually get burned out on. But I'm afraid I'll get distracted later and still not play the game when they release new stuff for it.

It's only 20-25 hours. For a RPG that's bonkers at $60. I'd honestly just wait, it has 1-2 more years in the oven and so much about the already existing chapter will inevitably be changed let alone the two, and epilogue, to come.
