I haven't looked at tv's since i got my 56" 3 years ago but yeah that seems reasonable to me. Keep in mind, it being 4k and smart would push the price up a bit.

This looks like a Black Friday model which means they only produce these to be sold for cheap on black friday. I mean there's nothing wrong with that necessarily but there's probably a "real" version of this TV that's more expensive.

The only thing that stands out to me is 2 HDMI ports when 3 or 4 seems to be standard. There's probably other small cutting corner things at play here too.

Seems good. My only advice is make sure you REALLY want a 70 before you buy one. Putting my 65 on a wall was hell, and I have a 55 in my bedroom that would look awful any bigger

TV's are very inexpensive anymore.
Like over the last 2 years the prices have nosedived, it's wild.

I miss 2012 when my 50" plasma was the least expensive 50" TV on the market at like $800
Now you can get a 65" TV at Walmart for $400 when it's NOT on sale.

This is a wonderful observation that is probably a breaking point for me. I have my cable box and three systems booked up right now. That is not something I want to be manually switching often.

It depends on what you're using it for or expecting of it. If you want a set with really good HDR for movies/games you probably want something else. If you just want a big ol' TV that looks good enough, yeah, this is probably good enough.

Not really - it's practically impossible to find a TV, particularly in that size, without 4k or some streaming services built in.

Have you thought of getting an HDMI switcher?
