Cat minds exist outside of human bias and cultural pressure they give a more objective views of the human world. Gods, even in the case if a higher power exist, are still affected by various human interpretation of them based of socio-cultural dynamics therefore creates conflict when the ideas clash as one god's worshippers trying to impose their views as objective truth to people detached to their particular cultures. Cats doesn't order you to bathe in the blood of their enemies because they will do the murder themselves. Not afraid to get dirty.
