Season 1 was just ok, season 2 is good and 3 is excellent.

It's not as good as tla yet, but it have potential and some stuff are done better.

Magic system, i prefer it and it seems they planned it better, despite being more flexible in what they can do. In avatar first off they said they learned bending from earth mole, dragon, etc but kinda retconned it in korra with wan and there are other stuff that really never explained and the spirit stuff always kinda inconsistent.

Character wise there is no toph or iroh tier characters yet, but i still like the cast with ezran probably my favorite. Other character's development has been enjoyable too and with less episodes, i think dragon prince got better pacing and the story flows consistently after season 1 and in season 3 where they payoff starts happening is rewarding while still hyping up future conflicts.

You get used to it. Plus i think TV interpolate the frames or osmething it is a lot smoother now when i first watched it and gave up because of choppy animation. I used to watch on monitor

I really enjoy it.

I've said it in another topic, but it's probably the most inclusive series that I can remember watching - badass military leader who's deaf and uses sign language, multi-racial cast, LGBT characters, etc.

I'm usually not a big fantasy fan, at least this kind anyways, but I liked it a lot. I think it's better than most seasons of Korra. Can't wait for s4.
