Ya know, I need to send this letter too. Although I'm not even sure sometimes. I know I'm quiet as fuck and all of a sudden, I hear someone slamming something against my floor like I'm being loud or some shit. I can barely hear what's on my tv. How come he can apparently hear it better than I can?

I'm a downstairs neighbor with super loud upstairs neighbors. I haven't done anything about it though, it's one of the things I accept about living in an apartment: you're going to hear your neighbors through the walls. It's kind of inevitable.

It's annoying though. They have two small kids, and they have no filter or concept of noise. So they just run and jump and bounce around upstairs at random parts of the day, and I can hear all of it. Would I be the dick if I brought it up to them or the landlord?

Maybe talk to them politely about it? And then if they're an asshole about it or continue, then bring it up to the landlord?
