Okay, his people talk sounds good, but I'm getting pretty used to that every election. (this "Let's Give Each Other a Chance" speech, basically saying let's move forward, we're all in this together, etc)

Biden has repeated the phrase "there are no blue states or red states, just the United States"

this is pretty much what I've been saying, anybody clinging to their divisive values are just prolonging the division in the United States, not that they don't mean a lot when it comes to the generalization or actual representation of another party member's values, but yeah. Not always.

Despite the Trump campaign and Republicans railing against "socialism" for years, it is so-called blue states who have the lowest balance of payment ratios. Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts lead the country among states which pay out far more than they receive back in federal funds. Left-leaning economists say blue states essentially subsidize red states, which overwhelmingly accept more federal funds compared to what they produce.

This has been well-known for quite some time. Never ceases to amaze how not only are Trump supporters ignorant, but they're hypocrites, too

To be clear, as a Massachusetts resident, I have no issue with my taxes being used to help others, as long as the money is spent wisely and fairly (which often isn't the case, but I digress...), because unlike dumbass Trump voters, I believe in helping those in need, whether they're Democrat, Republican, citizen, immigrant, or anything in between or outside those descriptors.

Being against helping "illegals" or poor people based on paranoid false information is shitty, but being against helping those in need when you're from a state that recieves more federal help from wealthier states' taxes is just galling hypocrisy

It makes sense that blue counties account for most of the GDP. Other than for maybe farmers and ranchers, urban areas are where many people - democrats and republicans alike - go to work and produce things.
