The main differences are that you can only have 60 Pikmin in the field at any given time, as opposed to 100, and the fruits you collect yield roughly half the amount of juice. To be fair, this does all make the game more challenging, and the original game was far from easy to begin with, but I can't believe the challenge isn't higher. I thought all the bulbolbs were going to be black with red spots or something. Or the bosses would have five times as much energy. Guess not.

I wasn't too impressed by the enemy variety in Pikmin 3 either. No fiery or hairy bulborbs wtf

To be fair, I think the second game went a BIT FAR in terms of all the bulborbs. I mean, there were Pikborbs, or whatever they were called. That was, I don't know. Just bizarre.
