I've had a lot of fun with those games. I mean, they had great multiplayer as well, but the campaigns were SO cool. Driving around in vehicles, killing aliens, all the different weapons, and such. The graphics were basically top tier for the time, between the detailed textures and amazing draw distances. There were difficulty modes for everyone.

Halo Reach had a very good campaign, but not nearly as much fun. It was so damned cheap. I couldn't believe it. There were so many brutes to fight, and sometimes enemies had incredibly powerful energy weapons, that they just kept firing at you, and then of course when you beat them and got the fantastic weapon, it only had four shots left in it. That campaign was certainly enjoyable, but cheap as hell. The bullshit was just stupid.
