You buy a really cool expensive BBQ and plan to use it. The problem is, everytime you attempt to do so suddenly there is an enormous downpour of heavy rain leaving you more wet than Richard Poole.

The first couple of times you put it down to bad luck but by the 5th time, when you actually invited your friends over and the forecast was clear skies and sunshine.... You almost feel cursed when only 2 or them turn up due to the rain, the dorky ones.

I have plenty of tarps so I would make a 8ft high canopy that leans toward the grass(I have a concrete patio).

Indeed, I was once at a BBQ during a thunderstorm.

I haven't barbequed in years and prefer pan-fry/oven heat anyways, so I'd just sell the bbq.

Curses don't exist, so just chalk it up to bad luck and try again.

Or check to see if someone is spraying a hose over me whenever I try to grill.
