I remember I cheesed the Oblivion colloseum back in the day on my first playthrough, by finding a random ledge I could get up onto and whacking the guy on the head who couldn't hit me for some reason.

Catnip + Trigger Happy in FFX-2 was the only way I got past Chac and Paragon in the Via Infinito (at least Trema was a fair fight that didn't require cheesing).

Lol I always did the triple Thief stunlock for that asshole Chac. And just CONGRATS!'d Paragon. Via Infinito had way too many one-hit killers. Tough bosses can be fun, but those were stupid.

Anyways holy water triple shot on death. Castlevania 1 on Nes. Takea the hardest boss fight to the biggest joke of a boss fight of you know what to do.

I don't remember if it was a cheese strategy or just something funny you could do but I remember that you could distract TP Ganondorf with a fishing rod in his final fight.

Not sure if it counts when intentional, but that one super Metroid boss who could be killed using the grapple beam

Chac may very well be my most loathed boss in all of gaming, and I felt no guilt whatsoever in cheesing her to death.

Borderlands is usually full of geometry cheese. Chipping Crawmerax to death single-digits at a time from an invisible ledge is just one of the better known ones.

The final boss of the first Ninja Gaiden on Xbox which you could beat with the first ninpo you get, which was useless anywhere else.

The overflow error with a cure spell on the FFMQ endboss was always a fun one.

Idk if it's in the new one because I think they patched it out if the original but

In Dark Souls 1 you could just snipe the final boss of the DLC from above the boss arena with a bow and arrow. I don't think it was intended, but it was also never patched out IIRC

Not exactly geometry cheese but this reminded me of Krieg being able to cheese Pyro Pete with Bloodsplosion and Zer0 being able to cheese Hyperious + BNK3R with B0re.

For a while, there was a weird glitch in either 2 or presequel where shooting the baby-tosser things at just the right time would cause an instant-shield-regen effect. Time to go beat up some bosses.

you throw dung pies over the wall and you can kill Capra with toxic without even entering the arena

The "crouch in a corner" strat against Shadow Link in Zelda 2.

I think that's the only reliable strategy for the boss fight too, because otherwise it's just down to luck I think...

Pretty much every Zelda 2 boss can be cheesed the same way. Staying at the left edge of the screen essentially makes Link invulnerable.

Crouch-jump-stab-stab-stab-stab is also effective.

A lot of the Chain Reaction cheese Maya can pull off in Borderlands 2. Same with Zer0 and b0re, like the borderline game crashing instant Bunker kill cheeses lol.

Theres also a super funny one in Dark Souls 2 with one of the first bosses, you can make him whiff his lunge attack and fall to his death. Its an otherwise easy boss anyway but its just hilarious af and faster since you can always bait him to do the lunge upon entering the room.

Cheesing Lance's dragonite with a poison type so it spams agility forever was really fun when Twitch plays pokemon was a big deal.

Also would BL2 Sal being able to stand in Invincible bosses face with a Grog Nozzle and Unkempt Harold/Conference Call/etc. count as cheese? Because if so he was a walking cheese bot himself.
