I think slaughtering humans for food is wrong

But if you're stuck on a desert island with tons of water and no food. Then Billy dies. Is it wrong to eat his corpse so you don't die?

I mean Billy is dead. If the choice is either you die too or you eat him and live, surely the latter is the right thing to do?

Islam literally has a prinipcal about this called "necessity overrides prohibitions."

So like if you have to eat pork to live, Allah is cool with it.

I like that, its one of my favorite part of the Muslim faith because it's actually pragmatic.

I think the statement we can all agree on is "Eating other human beings is wrong in most circumstances."
