Pretty bad. Just had no idea how to read a girl romantically. I had decent social skills, had plenty of friends, I could talk to girls on a friend basis but again, beyond just friends I was absolutely clueless.

I learned 2 things that helped. One is emotional intelligence. For obvious reasons but just in general to help me read people. Second, I realized it's a different type of friendly you have to be with girls if ur romantically interested. Theres no common path, they are separate. The friends path is just usual nice. The romantic path is being more fun, flirty, and giving more hints that ur interested to build up to making a move if you're getting a positive reaction. I don't mean go overboard but don't underestimate it either.

Once ur on a date tbh it's not that hard, its more of the usual.

In high school the hottest girl in our class always asked me questions with obvious answers on the homework and said "we should hang out at the mall some time". All the jocks competed for her attention

I just thought she was an idiot, and why would I want to go to the mall? I don't have any money
