I dunno how people get raised, but there are definitely ways to take an insult and dish it back with enough wit that someone else can begin to respect you for it >_>

That being said, what someone else does or thinks of me usually won't affect me since I'm resourceful enough to get past anything <_<

My boomer parents are laid back.

Baby Boomers are 56-74. Probably a lot of people here have parents that are over 56.

I dont consider someone born after 1960 to be a boomer.

The whole reason they are called baby boomers is because couples got pregnant almost immediately following the end of WWII in 1945.... 1964 would have been nearly 20 years later so youre not part of the boom.

You also have to consider birth control which I believe started widespread use in the mid 60s. That would end the baby boom. You can google "baby boomer years" to see which years are considered.
