Hawk literally started the fight, he spearheaded breaking into the zoo, he smashed Meat's lego toy. His heisitation at the poop things Kreese did was foreshadowed but the turn still was weird. I guess that's a textbook element. Make a character unlikable but if it's compelling enough, that actor/actress is really doing their job. Like Kyler.
