Would be like of the target for sloth was someone who had a boring job and just sat in an office cubicle all day

I hate when stories makes these obviously irrational and insane lunatics genius schemers who are always 5 steps ahead of the police and authorities even when going through the extra effort of making all their crimes be convoluted impractical gimmicks especially when they're doing it alone.

To be fair to the film he had 3 of those and then the police found him and his plans changed

Also he planned it for years and had tons of money.

As far as that trope goes they did it somewhat realistically, not like the Joker
