Men are flighty in regards to commitment because of the sexism in the divorce courts. This is a simple fact. Men have to fight to get even partial custody and they are ordered by default to pay child support. Most are waiting at a later age, which is a good thing in my opinion because I personally do believe many people divorce way too easily because they get married too quickly.
