I dont see advertising as a problem.

I think the military is a viable alternative to the other options. Even if you just want to do your 4 years for the GI bill, etc. Seems a better option than taking out tons of student loan debt.

Not to get into recruits specifically.

Personally speaking, I'd rather be doing what I do now in the Navy than what I used to do in the civilian sector. The timing couldn't have been better, because if I were still at my old civilian job when the COVID came through, I would've been fucked financially.

Yeah when I signed up for a class at the local community college the ARNG recruiter started sending me e-mails about all the benefits and everything lmao
