Merciful End is very nice and Parting Shot/Lightning Phalanx are good for cast builds. Unshakable Mettle might be the worst duo. I think the only things that stun you are the hands in Tartarus and the jars against Hades? --- I feel completely refreshed. The exceptions are the cast boons - Parting Shot is a huge damage boost for cast builds and Lightning Phalanx is a nice upgrade to an already solid cast but honestly still a bit lackluster for a duo. So I guess I'm going Parting Shot - it kind of wins by default. I have a soft spot for Stubborn Roots because it carried some runs when I was still learning and can also carry during VERY high heat, but on most normal runs I try to avoid it. Merciful End is apparently used in speedruns? One of the furies (Tisiphone?) can stun you. That said it's still not great yeah, even though that jar attack sucks. Stubborn Roots helped me a lot early, but once I started doing Extreme Measures ~~where Hades casually throws out 50 damage hits~~ I didn't get as much use out of it.
