I used to be obsessed with the lore of World of Darkness

Caine is not happy with his fate. He's a massive emo about it. Maybe you'd enjoy it. Maybe I would too. But its canon in the lore that Caine is upset. That said,I used to think about if I would like being a vampire or not. It would be cool to live forever but at the same time, I'm squeamish about Blood. I always wondered if someone like me would be able to get over that if they became a vampire

i'd definitely see it at as a curse. The magic powers part is cool, but being unable to go out in daylight if you want to and having to feed off of people would suck.

In fairness, Cain being the original vampire kiiiind of fits in with the Bible. A big deal is made about how the earth "swallowed" Abel's blood.

And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

And the Mark of Cain marks Cain as someone you shouldn't fuck with or you will suffer God's wrath sevenfold. People tend to interpret this as him being invulnerable.
