The real surprise was the 2016 election where even at the end of the night I didn't believe the results. Biden is very well fit for his role as the President because he has a lot of experience and seems to back progressive views. The senate are the ones that vary in age and have some of the most vile human beings that exist today that will hold back anything the president tries to sign off on. Both sides in the senate are die hards for their party and their voter base to keep themselves elected that theyll say and do anything outlandish to keep that position.
