CE is probably the only board/page I actively visit anymore. I rarely stop on LUE but that's it really.

Not really. If I had a question about a game and the search result was Gamefaqs, I'd look at their answer. But aside from that I wouldn't participate any other way.

Honestly I've really been considering closing my account or at least not coming here any more. Place has really gone downhill. But I'm feeling that way generally about the interwebs lately, which makes me think it's more a "me" problem. Still, it's a big change. There was a time in my life when I was one of the most active posters on lue, been when fubonis tracked that kind of thing. I thought I'd never leave or want to leave this site. Even when lue died down a ton and I turned here, still felt mostly the same. But it doesn't any more

I don't think it's just you because you've basically described my experience. I keep taking long breaks though and actively avoid spending too much time online these days. Maybe a good portion of more outgoing people vanished into various discords and abandoned the boards mostly. It's hard to tell.

Yeah, I'd probably hang out on the PC board and last gen system boards or something like 3DS and Wii U etc.

Yes, I only discovered CE last year, so it's not my sole reason for coming here. I still visit the PC and console boards, as well as the sexuality board.

There's something to the discord idea. Not just with respect to the faqs; lots more stuff happens on discord these days.

I only have ever used discord to do voice chat tho
