The fighting game character Jack-O' Valentine from Guilty Gear is a reference to the German heavy metal band Helloween, who has a mascot named Jack O. Although it's easy to think that they're just similar because of the jack o' lantern design, Jack-O' Valentine's instant kill move in every game is named after the Helloween song "I Want Out".

In the famous concert "The Last Waltz", by the Band, Eric Clapton makes an appearance. During "Further on up the road", Eric's guitar strap breaks and you can faintly hear him say "Hold on" as he stops his guitar solo abruptly. Robbie Robertson, lead singer of The Band, doesn't miss a beat and improvises his own solo while Eric re-straps his guitar, and Robbie hands it back off to him.

Eddie Van Halen did the guitar solo to Michael Jackson's "Beat it". Probably more well-known than not, though, since it's been 35 years.

Metallica's James Hetfield DID NOT lend his voice in an uncredited role to the South Park movie for the song, "Little Boy, You're Going To Hell". This was just a really good impression by Trey Parker.

Did it for free... and added the solo part that Jackson liked and Jackson left it in.

Also think Eddie said he made it up in like 15 minutes.
