The amount of white supremecy and Western imperialism is really disturbing. The way that the Indians weren't productive enough with THEIR land, so the white people have a right to seize it from them. Also, forcing Christianity on the white people living there was pretty bad, although completely normal for the time period. The Puritans were quite interesting.

This applies to basically all history until the UN was established. Still happened after that, but not as much.

I watched a documentary recently about some Massachusetts tribes, the horrors they went through with reeducation schools, and basically trying to reconnect with their heritage after being re-homed with white families as opposed to their own people. It was a really heartbreaking doc.
