I can't speak to the other options but I know Google Photos will allow you to back up until you hit 15GB, which will probably take a while. After 15GB it's $1.99 for 100GB of storage space that you may never use for photos alone. The space also counts towards drive and other products.

If you pay a Google One subscription it also unlocks AI in the Google Photos app (used to suggest edits). I dig the search in the Google photos app as well because it's smart enough to recognize basic verbage. If you tag a person it will bring up every photo of that person. I haven't yet tried geotagging photos but apparently that's something that improves search as well.

No. I did lose some photos when my phone had to be reset, but considering what I lost were mostly nudes... Probably best they aren't on a cloud service lol
