He was dying on his own bed at his own home, not a care facilty, (I had called the nurses they were on their way), he had cancer so it was the end.

It was like 9:30pm and my shift ends at 10pm, it was winter and dark.

I noticed he seemed anxios, so I held his hand and started to quitely sing the FFIX start screen music (The Place Ill Return to Someday) https://youtu.be/vW3QK6CTg2g

But a slower tempo, after awhile he is body and breathing relaxed.

The nurses came and made the judgement call to have the night staff visit him with few hours in between, he died alone between one of their visits.

Thats very sad. Dementia is the worst.

But awesome that you gave him some comfort near the end.
