It's getting better but most rural towns have either satellite internet that is spotty or broadband that is around the speed of what DSL broadband used to be like.

If they have internet being offered at all.

I live out in the country, but for the past year and a half our electric co op has been running fiber cable all over the area and some of us now have gig speed internet. We couldn't tell Century Link to suck it quickly enough.

Does Chattanooga count as rural? I know it's a city with a big ass aquarium but driving through there you only see like one small downtown area and mountains everywhere else. But they have some dank internet speeds.
