The season is less than three weeks away, so I like to get the first topic out there with plenty of time so people are aware earlier and less prone to forget.
For those who aren't familiar, the basic premise of this is that you are to select one team each week to win their matchup. Win and you move on. Lose or tie, and see you next season. The kicker is that you can pick each team only once per season. Official Rules 1. Choose one team to win each week 2. If your team wins, you move on. If your team loses or ties, you are eliminated 3. You cannot select a team more than once in a season 4. lolrams 5. You are free to change your pick as many times as you want, but you are locked in once the team you are currently on kicks off 6. Let's see what crazy risky team I pick to either get it out of the way early or die on week 1... Well ok, not a huge risk.
Panthers. Jets got baited by a flash in the pan QB and will be a dumpster fire yet again. Panthers schedule is pretty tough this year and this feels like a forgettable sub-500 team that no one's really going to notice. I don't even know who their quarterback is. Oh, it's Sam Darnold.... I'm personally looking at Buccaneers, Falcons, Chiefs, Rams, or Ravens. I will absolutely not consider any other game based on currently known injuries.

It's not that I have like a ton of faith in the Falcons but the eagles are supposed to be bad and this week is actually very tough. A lot of the underdogs are playing at home.

Yeah, I don't have a lot of confidence in any pick this week. It's a strong opening week.
