They all sound like they'd be stupid hot.

At least Nevada would be a dry heat.

Id feel like a genius in Mississippi.

Kinda how I felt when I moved from virginia to north carolina. Not really a genius but I definitely felt above average.

Speaking of i seem to recall NC being in the bottom 10 when i was still going to school.

Is colleges counted for this cause the public education sucked in my expierence but they do have some good medical colleges like duke.

Or did NC finally start using lottery profits to improve schools like they promised but initially seemed have lied about

College readiness was one of the parameters, but not much beyond that, here's the link

Ohio sounds "stupid hot"? I celebrated several Halloweens as a kid with snow on the ground.

I did tech support for Frontier Communications around the time they bought DSL lines from Verizon in 13 states, including West Virginia. Those were some of the worst fucking tech support calls. Not only did Frontier royally fuck up the transition and break everything for months, I talked to so many people in West Virginia who couldn't read.

WTF do you do with a computer if you can't even read?

I had someone call in for tech support because he couldn't remember his password.

Me: Thanks for calling Frontier's tech support. How can I help you?
Him: I can't remember my password.

Of course, we have to verify we're talking to an authorized person by asking the security question.

Me: Alright, I can help with that. Let me check to see what the security question on the account is. The question is, "What is your favorite book?"
Him: Hell if I know! I don't READ books!

I was so shocked at the answer that I was just quiet for a bit and I put my face in my hands. Then I transferred him to customer service because he has to verify the account through other means if he doesn't know the answer to the security question.

Either things improved or was given false information. Granted back when I was in school was a long time ago but I had been told NC was like 48th in the nation. And virginia was like number 6. And it was believable. VA schools in my expierence where far superior from better teachers to better technology. In VA when I took the SOLs we did it on a computer and had our results in 15 minutes. In NC when we did our EOCs or EOGs. They where on paper then mailed to Raleigh to be graded. It would take 2 weeks to get our results
