It's looking pretty fun. The demo gives you just one set of microgames, but you can play as up to six (technically seven) characters so you get a feel for it.

Basically instead of just pressing buttons, in this game you control a little on-screen avatar of your character who has to interact with the microgame somehow. Each character has different movement and attacking abilities. Wario can move around freely and his attack is a side shoulder tackle. Young Cricket walks on the ground but can jump really high. Mona automatically rides forward on her scooter and has a controllable boomerang attack. Stuff like that.
