I, myself, would never be able to get into it, especially nowadays; it's just not my thing. I just watched this in-depth video about it, though, and it's crazy just how much was added in what was overall, an optional side-thing. I hear in SA2, it actually does have some necessity for those who want a cool bonus at the end, but overall, you can ignore it and just continue on your gotta go fast merry way. The people who worked on it, I wonder what it's ultimate goal was. Was it just intended to be a cute little thing in Sonic games, or were they working on a prototype for a bigger system, that to my knowledge, wasn't used elsewhere? It seems to be a beloved feature of the SA games, though, so it's a shocker Sega never went back to the idea. You really should be careful around the Chaos Garden. Its bad enough you went through the whole not liking it and dying ordeal a ritual that usually has very little to do with the Garden and everything to do with your own personal choices in play but then you go and kill it. You know, the most sacred place of the Sonic Gods? I thought you could get away with just a minor transgression, but no, you had to kill something that represented a symbol of the gods themselves? Who do you think you are, the son of the gods? Are you trying to turn against your fellow gods, the true rulers of the Nine Lands?

Anyway, I shouldnt be surprised. You know what? Youre just as much a threat to the Nine Lands as the Garden itself. If anything, Id even go as far as to say that youre much more of a threat to the Nine Lands. The garden, you see, was created by Sonic himself. Did you know that?
