I purchased an item on eBay based on the sellers description, though it was not as described when it arrived. Naturally, I sent it back and was issued a small fraction of a refund from what I originally paid. I then asked eBay to step in to force the seller to refund the original amount, so now I am waiting.
Assuming eBay sides with the seller, would this be the exact situation where I would open a dispute about the charge with my credit card company? --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

most likely. Your cards terms and conditions could be different, but this would generally be a valid charge back.

Looks like I win again. Picked up the full refund today, glad I was able to settle that without going through my credit card company after all.
