I thought it was overall better than season 2, tho the end felt rushed and I thought it was the series finale, and I read a s4 is coming.

I don't know, I just found Tilly very annoying and the Stamets and family stuff felt forced. Saru is a terrible captain as well.

I liked it.

Overall I think I preferred the second season, but I don't have any major complaints about it either (I think the actor playing Gray is a bit weak compared to the rest of the cast, but that's a relatively minor gripe).

Book is a really fun new character, and it's good to see the increasing focus on the rest of the bridge crew (I loved the scene with the more minor characters all gathering under the tree). Emily Coutts stole a lot of the scenes she was in in the front half of the season. I would absolutely be on board for Detmer getting even more screen time in S4.

All I was thinking if she had gained weight? But I liked her honestly.

I dunno if I missed something but was surprised when he suddenly was considering Adira to be their child, but I get it. I felt they did the trans inclusion netural enough, it wasnt preachy or in your face.

Discovery sucks mainly because Burnham as a character is really annoying.

I don't mind the trans or gay part at all. It was the family thing that felt so forced. It didn't feel like Stamets and Culber really resolved their relationship and then randomly adopting Adira just felt so undeveloped. Plus we spent so much time on these characters that the other side characters barely got a chance to shine.

S3 was great. it gets shit because the people who stopped watching the show after 6 episodes won't move on.

while i agree with this in principle, it's still super depressing that a 32nd century human would even feel a need to closet themselves at all.

Boom! That's right, this is all happening! You cannot change the channel now!
Of course I'm paranoid, everyone is trying to kill me.
