Somewhat, I'm more well versed in the TI-89 that I've been using since 12th grade and still use pretty much every day 17 years later.

We used it in junior high and high school. A teacher I had in 8th grade showed off his TI-83+ silver edition.

When I was bored in high school during class I created a graph that looked like a monster in my graphing calculator by experimenting with a couple different functions. It involved a mix of trig functions and polar functions lol.

I forget how to do the graphing features. A graphing calculator is useless though if you have Excel.

The whole point of them existing, is to have a locked-down device during tests.

...until you figure out how to program your calculator, and store all the formulas in it.

Man, I wish I was smart enough to know how to program stuff into the calculator >_>

Is there a TI-83 emulator for phones? I know there's one for computers >_>

Right? Super easy.

I've seen the newer versions are all color and fancy and shit now. Probably makes Drug Wars a lot cooler.

I don't know much aside the basic calculating stuff because I never bothered with learning the rest.

I used mine in high school and undergrad but it was broke when I wanted to use it for grad school.

My favorite game on there was Phoenix.

Yeah. There was actually a graphics calculator class I took in middle school. (This was around 96-97). I was pretty damn good at it, having it draw mario's head, installing games like snake and whatever video game related thing I could think of on it.

I definitely forgot how to do all the programming related stuff on it now.

As far as where my TI-83 is at, man its buried around my house somewhere or another. (There was a time when various family members and friends kept asking to borrow it for their classes and such. Took some years to actually get it back).

Somewhat, I always used a Casio and never a TI. But I imagine it's similar to a large extent

Oh wait, this is a graphic calculator. Probably not then
