Or I guess, modern Tales of game since I beat Phantasia. I tried a lot of em. Graces, Xillia, Berseria, Vesperia, and they couldn't hold my attention for one reason or another. Berseria I sorta got far into but I got annoyed by all the useless weapons I'd have to micromanage

I'm at what I believe to be the last stretch of the game on Lanegis and my god. Soooooo much talking. There was a lot of talking in the game in general but holy shit I feel like I can't make 5 steps without a 5 minute cutscenes or conversation happening lol

I thought the game was very good in the beginning and in the middle of the story, but towards the end once the characters and the plot unravel, the game becomes less interesting. I hate when this happens when I play an rpg game, and I was afraid this was going to happen. It was pretty obvious when everyone was talking about how nice Kisara's ass was, that was a bad sign.

Finished it. Great anime ending. Flashy as fuck final battle. The song + ending made me tear up a bit not gonna lie even tho it was predictable lol

Tales of Arise probably has the worst story in the entire series and about in the middle of the road as far as gameplay goes. I'm glad you liked it but i'm sad the others weren't as captivating for you.

I'm the opposite. I haven't touched it in weeks and I don't know if I'll ever get back to it. I just picked up Law and I can't stand any of the characters nor do I care for this story.

To be fair for the longest time I've had such a mean streak of not finishing games. This is actually the first that I have in a while lol. It makes me wanna go back tho and retry. I'll probably try Berseria again
