Got my online sorc stuck in A5 hell. Found vamp gaze for my merc so that's something.

Also, earlier today I realized act 2 mercs can melee javelins. Found a decent ethereal one with some added elemental damage.

Maxed out all money in stash so gonna start gambling now. Could use a better helm with more resists and otherwose gambling rings and amulets. Other armors are decent for now and can't gamble necro wands apparently (unless I just have shitty luck). Are there any good uniqur or set skeleton necro weapons that aren't wands?

Wands are your best bet.

Pus Spitter, Spine Ripper, Blackbog's Sharp, Grim's Burning Dead are unique necro weapons, none are better than wands you can get for a skeleton necro. pus spitter can be fun, though.

I'm stuck in act 2, I'm a meteorb sorc and cannot get the damn amulet from the claw viper temple. I don't know how I'm going to beat duriel.

I just started a Necromancer that I'll get to when I get sick of Pathfinder.

Leaning toward Bonemancer but high level D2 I know very little about.

I finally reached Hell as Javazon and I'm completely brick-walled in ACT 1. I simply am not doing any damage to those zombies' elemental resistance. I to respeced into Poison/Lightning Build and now my character sucks.

Is Hell difficulty gonna stay this way

Hell is definitely a big step up.most of the time so far for me, it's been manageable, but when it hasn't, I've been completely fucked and going back to town every 2 seconds and dropping 100k+ rviving merc who was doing fine before whatever bullshit got him killed the first time. Just the nature of the beast imo and fucking countess of course... 20 years ago I was getting better runes off her in nm in spite of nm vs. Hell caps. I never forgot. I just thought it would be different this time. HAHAHAHHAHA FUCKING NOPE . And nm baal runs are great for exp but I only did one and it took ages... I am not a patient or mild tempered person. I yelled a lot tonight. I punched a lot of stuff tonight, myself included. I should not play games like this that really push my patience. It's too late now though. I am committed and now it randomly light outside for some reason.

ya i was psn/light until hell then i went pure light, i got through act1 but stuck in act2. Definitely need to get better gear for my merc. I ended up making a trapsin and cruised through hell.

So I just found out how to find Durance 3 almost every time. When you get off the WP in Durance two, Durance 3 will most likely be on the route towards your left when getting out the WP room.

With that, I was able to do about 25 Hell Meph but the only thing dropped for me I consider good was Gheed's.

Create a new character and make sure you have a bunch of gold in your stash. Use the level 1 character to keep checking Akara and look for a wand that gives 3/3 raise skel/mastery. Thats better than anything youll get until late game probably. And it doesnt take long. Just keep leaving town and re-entering to reset Akaras stock until you find it.

Doing it at level 1 ensures she wont stock wands with higher level skills that are p much useless for a summoner.

Blizz/Firewall Sorc: Lv 70 Hell Andy Quest. Hell has been doable thus far. Need a better helm and spear for my merc buddy. Firewall has been a good backup element as its pretty high damage for minimal investment. Just need a merc or ice bolts to keep enemies in place.

Support Barb/Trapsin: Lv 13/15 Normal Ancients. Got rushed through to Ancients on them so just going to bum around past Acts wrapping up side quests and gearing up.

Charger Pally: Lv 6 Tristram. I want to make a low or lowish level PK character >:)

The fact I can use the hero editor for anything offline is amazing

that's how it always goes

people used to switch and camp the town with shit like wind druids and trapsins that's impossible to get through so I'd switch to my blizz sorc and kill them from the first waypoint with maphack

that's also why they aren't allowing ultrawide res, or you'd have blizz sorcs killing you from 4 or 5 screens away depending on how big their screen is

Tried one Pit run on a meteorb and got the Draculs gloves and a Ravenfrost ring. Then spent 20 minutes farming Mephisto and nothing but junk, back to the pit.

My Sorceress is now level 25 in Act 3 Normal. I can twink her with a Spirt Sword, a Rhyme, and a Lore. Should I respec now or wait until later? Should I go for Blizzard, Frozen Orb or some hybrid build?

I would not respec so early in the game. Just put in any skills / stats you want until youre higher level. Dont want to waste your resets.

If you use multiple stamina potions I'm pretty sure they stack plus stamina isn't really a concern late game. Still a bad mechanic though that should've never been in the game.

I Just sniped a good wand doing that but it seems I can only hold 10,000 gold as a level 1? that's not enough to buy it.

Your personal stash gold is also counted when you buy stuff

I got a pretty good Yew Wand from the blacksmith quest, Teeth and Skeleton. Also Mana on kill, I think.

Tried to play a few games because us console peasants don't have the luxury of lobbies or on game chat and it was as you would expect. Still complete trash. When I read this it's as is if I'm doing a Jimpression but holy shit they would probably have the same complaints.

Reaper's has a chance to cast Decrepify, which can override your curses.

Infinity is *the* merc weapon for a Summon Necro though.

Weapon damage doesn't factor into spell damage at all in D2. It mostly matters for skills that actually use the weapon (melee skills, some bow and javelin skills, etc.).

I dunno how this happened but it did.
